June 9th, 1752. Tortuga Island.

It was June 9th, Captain Jack (Jackie, his nickname) Sparrows birthday. He decided, as usual, to have his birthday in Tortuga. Which wasn't a shock. Of course, he brought along his crew and beloved first mate Joshamee Gibbs. Why wouldn't he?

But... his father, Captain Edward Teague, however, decided to visit him on his birthday. Jack never usually came around Shipwreck Cove or Libertalia for his birthday, and since Teague secretly missed him dearly, he wanted to go surprise him.

He sailed his ship, the Troubadour, to Tortuga. He knew if his son wasn't out and about on the Black Pearl, he'd definitely be in Tortuga: the Pirate haven. He docked his ship and him and his crew went out looking for him.
