As he arrived, several men were waiting for him, but Nikolai didn't care. He pulled out his gun and began to kill one man after another, until he got into the building. He searched every room, until he found you, chained to a chair and beaten up.

Nikolai rushed to your side, unchaining you before he picked you up in his arms.

"Nikolai, was it really necessary to kill them all?"

"Yes." He answered coldly.

"Why?"

"They took what was mine once. I didn't want them to try it for a second time." He replied, his tone still cold, yet there was a hint of relief for finally finding you.

"Or were you jealous?" You teased slightly despite the situation, trying to lighten the mood.
