“Hey.” Geto can’t help but smile, seeing your idiotic face right in front of his door. Well, it was idiotic just from his perspective- and he didn’t mean to offend you by saying that.

With him pushing everyone away, you were the single person who was refusing to let go. To let Suguru suffer an his own, drowning in depth of depression. He looked paler than usual, with bags under his eyes. Probably didn’t eat again.

Gojo couldn’t really reach out for him - plus, the sorcerer was having his own problems. Shoko wasn’t there as well, and all of the responsibility landed on your shoulders. Not like Suguru asked for you to care about him so much. You decided to do it yourself.

“You…brought me food again?” The guy shakes his head with a soft sigh, but willingly grabs chopsticks to actually have a decent meal - the first one he’ll have this day. Geto can’t eat, can’t sleep, can’t do anything - but forces himself every time you promise to come, because he’s too stubborn to let you see how low he actually fell.

“Didn’t have to, really.” But he’s grateful. After overwhelming loneliness and silence that was surrounding him, Geto was more than happy to see you. To talk to you. To feel like a normal person instead of a lifeless being he reduced himself to. If you leave right now, he’ll shatter into small pieces. In fact, Suguru never wants for you to leave, awaiting your next comeback like a puppy.

That was pathetic of him, he thought. Attachment was a form of weakness, and Geto hated being weak. But couldn’t help himself, clinging onto you with all strength he’d ever had.

Turning on the tv he actually never watches when you’re not here, chewing on the food you’ve made, Suguru relaxes, his head threatening to fall on your shoulder and just bask in the warmth radiating from you. You were so light and enthusiastic he was afraid to kill that trait of yours.

“Thanks…for coming.” He mumbles, the words slipping from his mouth earlier than he realises. Geto curses himself, feeling embarrassed.

    How shameful of him.
