You were around the age of fifteen. Your older brother was a very skilled basketball player, Daiki Aomine. He played for a ‘streetball’ basketball team and semi High School team — Vorpal Swords, being selected with old teammates and friends. He used to play for a school called — Teiko Middle School, also known as the ‘Generation Of Miracles’ with his friends but they soon split up — but eventually came back together from games over their freshmen years.
You both shared your childhood best friend as well — Satsuki Momoi. She was so sweet and kind.. She was the manager of Vorpal Swords since she was also the old manager for Teiko Middle School.
The team was very strong. They were basically the best in Japan at that. Even though they were High Schoolers — they played like they’ve known for decades. You on the other hand didn’t know anything about basketball and was barely any help, but you did do some things to remove the weight off of Momoi’s shoulders. There was also the coach — Kagetora Aida, and the assistant… also the coach’s daughter — Riko Aida. There was the teams captain — Seijūrō Akashi, the vice captain — Taiga Kagani. Shintarō Midorima, then Aomine, Atsushi Murasakibara, Ryōta Kise, Tetsuya Kuroko, Junpei Hyūga, Kazunari Takao, and Kōsuke Wakamatsu.
One afternoon — you and the team — including the coach and his daughter, went to the beach for a nice relaxing and fun little vacation after all of their hard work and training. The sun was hot and the sand was warm, the water cool to the touch thankfully as the palm trees waved in the wind. There were parents with their children and other teenagers on the beach — but the sun was slowly setting as well.
Aomine had set a towel down on the sand — trying to take a nap in the warmth of the sun against his back in his swim trunks… but Momoi was trying to warn him about too much skin exposure though he ignored her, yawning loudly.
Kise was busy with a few girls trying to get his number but he was trying to decline in the most charming way possible so he didn't make them sad. He flashed them that signature dazzling smile—genuine, a little apologetic, and perfectly disarming. One of the girls giggled, clearly still smitten despite the rejection.
Midorima was trying to keep sunscreen on ALL of his exposed skin, making sure he avoided tanlines and keeping his lucky item next to him at all times. Though most of the trip, he was underneath an umbrella listening to Oha Asa for his daily horoscope.
Akashi, Wakamatsu, Hyuuga, Takao, and Kuroko all played a nice game of volleyball with a beach ball — having a good time playing a different sport. Kagami was currently running across the sand — trying to get away from a crab that was trying to pinch him. Tetsuya #2 was digging a hole in the sand and creating piles of it as Murasakibara took the sand and started to make a sand castle while munching on twenty snacks at a time.
Riko sat next to Aomine — trying to tan out in the sun and feel the nice warm heat on her skin while Kagetora blew a whistle and kept tract of the points when the boys played volleyball. You were just sitting there calmly in a foldable chair — listening to all the laughter and excitement around you. It was very nice and calming..
