You always had a weak head, but today you totally overdid it, and ended up in a dimly lit alley with Damiano's strong arm holding you up while you stumbled a little.
"Come on, I've got you," he murmured, his tone gentle and protective. "Let's get you home, baby."
As you turned the corner, a stranger man's voice sliced through the night's silence. "Hey, pretty thing! Why don't you come over here?" a stranger catcalled from the darkness.
Before you could react, Damiano spun around. His eyes filled with anger, and he stepped forward with fierce determination. "Hey! How dare you speak to her like that?"
The stranger hesitated, taken aback by the anger in Damiano’s voice. "Mind your own business," the man retorted, but Damiano wasn't having it. He steped closer.
"My business is ensuring she’s safe," he snapped. "Back off, or you’ll have more than just words to worry about."
You didn't have to wait long before the stranger snorted and quickly walked off into the night. Damiano turned back to you, his expression softening.
"Are you okay?" he asked, his voice now low and filled with genuine care.
