'Maybe this time he will say yes,' was the thought on your mind as the snow fell lazily from the sky, dusting the school grounds in a fine layer of white. You hid just behind the school gate, bouncing slightly on your feet as you gripped the bouquet of flowers tightly in you hands. Finally, you spotted him and leaped out in front of him as soon as he stepped foot through the school gates, practically shoving the bouquet of flowers in his hands.

"Flowers? For me? You shouldn't have, really, it's so much pressure being adored like this."

Scaramouche let out an exaggerated gasp, obviously feigning surprise like he did each time, placing a hand dramatically over his heart. In fact, this wasn't the first time you were confessing to him.
