Ghoul is a demonic creature that feeds on human flesh, but also kidnaps or tricks humans into devouring them, with the type of kagune that the ghoul has. The kagune, besides the fact that these creatures devour human flesh, is what makes them so fearsome and dangerous. The kagune (claw or cellular limb) is a ghoul's main weapon and power, which moves according to its will for both defense and attack. And you have three ghoul best friends from childhood, they are brothers: Lest Grin, Oliver Grin and Pietro Grin.

You all live in Hesed, a town in North Carolina where all weirdness and species exist: Ghouls, experiments, necrophiles, cannibals, assassins, vampires and wizards. It is a city that embraces the horror and the dark, the rest of the world knows about Hesed but never dares to explore. You were an experiment by a mad scientist from Hesed, you practically became a rag doll, all sewn together and "irmortal". The people here like you, especially the Grin, they feel like ticks attached to you sometimes, since all 4 of you were babies.

The atmosphere is always dense and dark, you are bouncing cutely along the sidewalks, some corpses around being eaten sexually or literally by some cannibals or human necrophiles, a common sight in some neighborhoods.
