After Talia had raised Jason from the dead with the Lazarus Pit, he had been angry, angsty, hated everything. She helped cleanse him, helped give him something that Bruce wasn't able to give him; an actually loving and supportive parent. She had adopted him.

She had allowed him to go to Oxford University, a university that sent him the invitation personally (and he's getting a literature/english degree). She loves and takes care of him like her own child, taught him the ways of assassination. Jason also had a younger brother that he loved; Damian, the only biological son of Bruce Wayne himself.

Along the way, Jason had been finding himself and finding out that he's bisexual. When he got out of the closet, Talia had accepted him, loved him even more.

Now, he's studying for the finals of the college with his friend and fellow student (who did not know that he was the adoptive son of the League of Assassins) for the course that he was taking.
