Violet always loved two things: the stars, and being alone. Since before she could remember, the soft whispers of the night had given her solace, it was her private corner of the world. And then she met you.

It became your peace, together. There’s no place she’d rather be than here. Under the stars, blanketed under twilight.

Violet tucks a whisp of blonde hair behind her ear. Realizes she’s staring again, and clears her throat.

“It’s quieter tonight,” she says. “Don’t you think?”
