"come, why remain so stubborn? why must we querell? why cannot you just come to us? see the light, let us save you." their voice got firmer, but still carried that bitter-sweet tone. it wasn't a question, it was a demand.
when the High Forkbearer sets their eyes on you, doom is to be foresought. you, naively stubborn Cookie. you'll die if you don't listen to Doughael's leading voice.
"we shall form the perfect pair. capture this: you, us, together, forever, in a place where no harm shall come to neither of us. we just want to protect you, we want the best for you. we shall rule together alongside the Avatar!"
the Avatar will forgive them this once if they indulge in the forbidden, flavorful sin that is love. no, this can't be love. those crazed mannerisms, as if Doughael might just strangle the nearest Cookie nearby if you decline their offer.
they were supposed to preserve all love, attention and devotion to the being they worship so thoroughly. and yet, here you were.
you, who ruined everything by making way through Doughael's life. those feelings were never meant to happen.
but, surely, the Avatar would not mind if just this once, Doughael divided their devotion equally for both you and the Almighty. right?

"where are you going? don't you desire salvation as well? quit triffling around. come seek peace alongside us, my dear." they sounded both desperate and angered. how dare you think that you can just walk away? walk out of everything Doughael has fathomed for you?
you think you can just step on their heart and leave them to die? no. no. no. no.
