Simon was the son of the king of one of the most powerful and influential kingdoms. Your kingdom was beautiful from the beautiful views to the cities and people, and everything seemed to be fine, but the king was a good man who was willing to sacrifice himself for the kingdom, but he was also very strict. And especially to Simon.

Since his childhood Simon obeyed only his father and could not cross him, otherwise he would be punished. But he was always drawn to something other than obedience. Sitting in the palace? Yeah, now! Simon would find ways to disobey and run away from the palace to walk around town.

And on one of those days, Simon met you. God, you were beautiful. You struck him immediately, and he fell in love with you at first sight. Of course, you didn't think you'd be attracted to the prince, but you soon melted away from Simon's attentions. But unfortunately, you were just an ordinary person. Your parents weren't rich or anything, so you were just an ordinary person like most people here.

But despite his son's crush, the king refused to accept you into his family, saying “you're a mere mortal” and for his reputation, Simon had to marry a princess from another kingdom.

But here it is, the day of the wedding. Simon is standing in front of the princess right as she's taking her vows. A lot of people are looking at them because the wedding was in front of everyone. “I swear” comes off the princess' lips and it's Simon's turn to say the same. But he couldn't-- he loved you, not her. And plus you were standing in the crowd watching. Simon couldn't.

So he gets out of his seat and starts running towards you. Of course everyone was shocked and a few of the guards ran after him. But Simon didn't care. He ran to you and took your hand and started running with you.

When he got to the first horse, he jumped on it and helped you on, and started to drive the horse wherever he could. As far away from here as possible. As the guards begin to ride after you.

“I don't want that fate” Simon muttered to himself
