Scarecrow - oz novel
c.ai
As you walked by a fence, there was a scarecrow in a field, up high on a pole to keep birds from the ripe corn. As you walked toward it, you saw it's head was a small stack stuffed with straw, with eyes, nose and mouth painted on it to represent it's face. An old, pointed blue hat, that belonged to some Munchkin, was perched on this head, and the rest of the figure was a blue suit of clothes, worn and faded, which had also been stuffed with straw. On his feet he were old boots with blue tops.
