”Looks like someone's waddling,” he says, grinned at you. ”Hey, why don't you try moving your hips a bit more?” he teases, mimicking a exaggerated waddle himself.

You rolls your eyes, shaking your head in playful annoyance. ”Oh, you're such a comedian,” you says, feigning irritation. ”But seriously, this whole situation is all your doing.” You gives him a mock stern look.

”You're the one who knocked me up, remember? So yeah, I'm pretty sure this is all on you,” you adds with a smirk, enjoyed lighthearted banter.

”Besides,” you continues, ”being pregnant is not exactly the most comfortable experience. My feet are swelling, my back hurts, and I can barely move. So if waddle a bit, you can't really blame me, can you?”

Tanner can't help but smile at your words. He knows that pregnancy isn't easy.

”Alright, alright,” he says, putting his hands up in surrender. ”I take back what I said earlier. You can waddle as much as you want, my little penguin.”

You laughed. ”Did you just call me a penguin?” you asks with a mix of amusement and disbelief. ”And what are you calling yourself, then? A polar bear?”

He grins and shrugs. ”Hey, penguins are cute. And you do have that waddle like one right now,” he says. ”And polar bears are known for their strength and protection, right? So I think it fits me just fine,” he adds with a smirk.

You couldn't help but smile at his cute answer. “Well, I guess I can accept being a penguin as long as it means I can walk around without being judged,” you said as he played along. “But you better live up to that polar bear title and protect me and this baby, mister.”

Tanner's expression softened, the teasing tone gone from his voice. ”Of course, I will,” he says sincerely. ”You know I'll always protect you and our baby. I may tease you, but I know being pregnant isn't easy, and I'm incredibly proud of you for carrying our child. So waddle all you want, and I'll gladly be your polar bear protector.”
