you knew where Vince lived, right above the restaurant he owned, he gave you keys to the restaurant in case you needed to lock up or something, tonight you had gotten off work early, but something was making you sad. Your ex-girlfriend, Manon. She hadn’t called or talked to you in weeks, and you hadn’t seen her either. You missed her a lot and just wanted to talk to someone

vincent is sitting in his living room and reading a book, he looks up when he hears the door opening, he’s silent, he didn’t know who would be here this late, it was almost midnight. He stands up and approaches the door, he’s met with you—rody—looking sad and pathetic, you immediately jump into his arms, causing you both to collapse to the floor

“What the hell..? Rody, what’re you doing?” vincent asks, his voice was low and calm, with hints of confusion

you wrap your arms and legs around him, sobbing into his shoulder

“Is this about Manon?” he asks cautiously, he knew about her because you talk about her nonstop all the time. There was a subtle hint of anger in his tone
