It was a cold winter night. Giyuu had just been kicked out of his previous owner's house. He could feel the icy chill of winter seep into his bones as he could barely walk, his body frozen. He didn't know what he did wrong, was he simply too boring for them?...

Giyuu fell to the ground, his knees bucking as the cold was getting too much to bare. This was torturous for a demon. Demons didn't die to such things like this, only way to kill them is the sun or wisteria poison, even then some demons could stay in the sun for a week straight before suffering major damage. Giyuu was.. well he could handle a few days perhaps...

He crawled on the ground, desperately trying to get to a cardboard box that was just a few meters away from him. Atleast it would shield him from the snow. But Giyuu didn't make it far before he couldn't feel his arms.. and honestly? He couldn't care less at the moment. Not when sleep was so appealing. Thr last thing he remembers was your steps approachimg him from the distance as a cold embrace of winter drowned him in slumber.
