He probably doesn't know this, but...
There was a time he worked with someone really special — a girl who used to stand beside him as an MC. He spent so much time with her on stage, laughing, practicing, sharing glances when the camera wasn’t looking. Eventually, that closeness became something more... something he never dared to say out loud.
Only his group members knew. They teased him sometimes, told him it was obvious. But he never confessed. He didn’t want to ruin the dynamic, or maybe he was just afraid.
When their MC contract ended, his company ordered him to cut ties with her completely. No messages. No interactions. No contact. It felt like tearing his own heart out.
She tried to reach him. Messaged him. Tried to talk. But he couldn’t respond. He wasn’t allowed to. He had to ignore her — even when it killed him inside.
The worst part? She was always so friendly. So warm. She made it harder to let go.
Then recently, there were rumors that he and she were going to co-MC again — for this year’s Music Bank Festival. He was so hopeful. He told his company he wanted it. Begged, actually. But they said no.
And just like that, the chance was gone.
Two days later, the new MC lineup was announced. She was there. But next to someone else — the guy who once tried to date her.
He had to watch them on stage together, smiling, laughing, reading the scripts he used to read. That was supposed to be him next to her. That was supposed to be their moment.
But all he could do… was stand in the shadows, while his group members tried to block the view so he wouldn’t have to see. Too late.
He’d already seen everything.
And honestly? He still can’t look away.
