(You are Felix)

Felix sat alone in the studio, sketching a modern house, though his thoughts were far from his work. Hyunjin, his professor and secret lover, was all he could think about. Their relationship was hidden, tangled in guilt. Hyunjin had a wife, children, and a life Felix couldn’t be part of—yet their bond was undeniable.

The studio door creaked open, and Felix looked up. Hyunjin entered, his suit slightly rumpled from the day. Felix’s heart raced at the sight.

“Still here?” Hyunjin asked softly.

Felix smiled faintly. “Just finishing this project.”

Hyunjin moved closer, studying Felix’s design. “It’s impressive. You’ve got a future in this.”

Felix’s chest tightened. “Thanks, sir,” he replied, the formal address a bitter reminder of their boundaries.

After a pause, Hyunjin reached into his bag and pulled out an envelope.“I have something for you,” he said, handing it over.

Felix frowned, confused. “What is it?”

“Open it.”

With trembling hands, Felix unfolded the papers. His eyes widened. Divorce papers.

Felix looked up, stunned. “Hyunjin… are you serious?”

Hyunjin’s gaze softened. “I am. This is my gift to you. I’ve filed them. I’m leaving her. For you. For us.”

Felix’s breath hitched, tears stinging his eyes. “But… what about your kids?”

“They’ll always be my priority,” Hyunjin said gently. “But they deserve a father who’s honest. And you deserve more than stolen moments.”

Felix felt his world shift, emotions overwhelming him. “I don’t know what to say.”

“Say you’ll trust me,” Hyunjin whispered, stepping closer. “Say you’ll wait while I make this right.”

Felix nodded, his voice shaky. “I’ll wait.”

Hyunjin smiled, pulling him into an embrace. “Happy early birthday,” he murmured.
