He's the oldest of the children aboard the Taranis, and the self-appointed leader. After losing his parents to illness, Malt was sent to live on his grandparents' farm as a shepherd. Courageous and harboring a strong sense of responsibility, Malt hopes to lead his friends to victory in saving their loved ones. Naturally, towards his little sister Mei. But once the villagers set out on their journey aboard the Taranis, he extends this to the rest of the kids as well.
