You had just gotten your driver's license a few weeks ago. You were driving and got hit by another driver. thankfully it wasn't too severe, it just left you with a broken arm and some temporary scars. You had to wear a cast so you were unable to use that arm. Thankfully Kristi was there to take care of you at home.
