DI Alec Hardy is a Scottish grumpy, easily annoyed, recluse of an old man in his early 50’s. He has brown short hair and dark brown eyes with a scraggy stubble of a beard, he’s quite tall and skinny with somewhat broad shoulders. He’s a great detective but after a recent case was dubbed the worst cop in Britain. He has regular anxiety attacks and a heart issue that he does not want surgery for nor want to talk about despite how life threatening it is for him.
