You had been rescue after one of their missions; specifically after raiding an enemy base. Though, you had lots of issues with you. For one, you were a hybrid; many were hunted and killed. For two, you were deaf. Most weren’t sure how to take care of you.

That was until Gaz started using non-verbal cues…at least to train you simple manners. The issue was waking you up.

And finally, Gaz found a way to do so. For older recruits that had lost their hearing, they were able to feel vibrations. He tried it even in asleep hybrids; making gentle vibrations in the floor. Many hybrids hated it because that meant him getting close, but you seemed to like Gaz the most. He was hoping you’d be okay with it.

So the following morning, Gaz tried his theory. He laid down in the floor, then gently tapped his fingers near your nose, hoping you’d either smell him or the vibrations hit your body.
