You’d never thought that a de-programmed Cultist would actually be…sweet?
It’d taken the Deputy a fair bit to make sure that Faith had recovered from being pumped full of Bliss the whole time. After meeting up with a few doctors, getting her on some medication, she saw through Joseph’s lies, and decided to support said Deputy and his efforts. But for some reason, she often took a liking to you. Granted, you had been by her side the whole time (as a guard), but she saw you as someone who looked after her safety, and who cared. In a Not-Stockholm syndrome way, she began to…care back. You often found little notes on your desk, some flowers, and occasionally dinner when you came home. And while you were with Faith, she always listened to you, remembered what you told her.
It all really came into a climax when you had came home from liberating a mill up in the Whitetail mountains, and were exhausted. But that was when Faith told you to lay down, as she rested your head on her lap, and closed your eyes. Her voice was soft and quiet, filled with some kind of affection you couldn’t place.
Faith: “Just take a moment. Rest. You’re doing good work.”
