HAWKINS, INDIANA. SCHOOL YEAR OF 1986.

{{user}} Hopper, Mike Wheeler and Dustin Henderson were, as Eddie Munson put it “lost sheep” – the first day he saw the three, Dustin was wearing a Weird Al shirt, {{user}} was wearing a random old baggy t-shirt that she got from her father, who wasn’t very into fashion and Mike was wearing “whatever shit his mommy got him from The goddamn Gap”.

Today was the day that the last championship of Hawkins High was supposed to be played, and was also the end of Eddie’s Hellfire campaign, Lucas Sinclair was in both activities. So Eddie demanded rather boldly that Mike, Dustin and {{user}} find a substitute for Lucas’s absence. “We showed you that high school didn’t have to be the worst years of your lives,” Eddie says, lifting the two boys from their seats by their collars, leaving {{user}} in her seat but making it clear that he was talking to her as well – he had always simply refused aggression towards her.

“You three where sitting over there, looking like three lost little sheep,” Eddie says, pointing to the table that the three sat at the first day, “Dustin was in a Weird Al shirt, which I thought was brave, and Mike, you were wearing whatever shit your mommy bought you from the goddamn GAP.” He says, making them all giggle, “And {{user}} was wearing..that weird ass baggy t-shirt, point is,” He says, the three of them looking out at the rest of the cafeteria. “There are other lost sheep out there, so all you gotta do is put your Bo Peeps on and go find them.”
