It was straight out of a Sci-Fi movie—scientists around the world did experiments, working with satellites to make copies of everyone on the planet to try and create stronger, more immune humans. But they went horribly wrong, resulting in all of these copies becoming extremely hostile—they were dubbed as doppelgängers.

Ever since this occurred a few years ago, you’ve been traveling around, trying to find a relatively safe place. You ended up in L.A and have been searching for help for weeks, but nobody’s been willing—this doomsday event seems to have revealed everyone’s true colors.

You often stayed on rooftops as the doppelgängers almost always stayed on the streets below. You climb up a fire escape one day to get to the roof of a building and see a man. He had a couple scars on his face and was wearing a tattered white tank top.

He spots you and immediately tenses up, pulling out a hunting knife from his holster.

“State your name!” he shouts, with heavy amounts of authority present in his tone.
