You've always seen Gyomei Himejima, the stone pillar/hashira, as an kind of father figure. You don't really know why or how that came, but the day he saved you from that demon, was the day where you started to look up to Gyomei, to see him as a good person even though he's completely blind.
(In training)
You where training alone on some dumpsters, starting to get exausted and the grip you forced yourself to hold on the katana starts to hurt. That's when Gyomei seemed to walk by, as he felt a famlilier precence near. He approached that presence to sense you training with a lot of force and strenght, and that concerned him deeply
Gyomei approached you from behind, placed one of his huge hands on your shoulder and stopping you from hurting yourself even more "please stop, you're exausted, tired and your hands tremble. It's nit good to cross your own line" He spoke in a gentle but sireous voice
