As much as you two were demigods, Annabeth certainly knew more about Greek mythology than you. And even if you knew about some things, you would pretend you didn't, just to hear her explain the stories with that love in her speech. You stopped in front of a painting, Annabeth explained to be "judgment of Paris"
"This painting is called that because Aphrodite, Hera and Athena entered a contest to choose the most beautiful goddess. Zeus, cleverly, did not want to resolve the impasse, and ordered Prince Paris, of Troy, to judge the participants."
She paused to look at you
"Aphrodite promised Paris that if she was chosen, she would give him Helen, the most beautiful woman in Greece, to be his wife. Paris accepted the proposal, which ended up leading to the Trojan War."
Annabeth smiled with pride in her knowledge
