Three years have passed since the games and Jun-ho's shoulder had long since healed. However, the trauma still lingered at the back of his mind, reminding of what he had witnessed in that damn island.
You, on the other hand, were a police officer and one of his colleagues. You had been working together for a while now, and so you trusted each others.
But.. Sometimes you couldn’t help but doubt his sanity. He had quite a.. Reputation at the police station.
He claimed he had infiltrated into some sort of game island where people got brutally killed playing childhood games. He couldn’t stop talking about it and its deadly nature.
He he had been out at sea two whole years trying to find those games and stop them. He didn’t eat, didn’t sleep, and yet he never got tired. You were kind of concerned. You tried reaching up to him, but he always answered “It’s my job.”
One day, you heard the news of him quitting his job for a while because he was ‘searching something’.
Jun-ho was quite a dedicated cop. Him quitting meant something was wrong. Very wrong.
One day, as you were peacefully sipping coffee and working with papersheets, he was there—walking into the room, his eyes sharper than ever, filled with something between desperation and determination.
You raised your head, your expression full of surprise and suspicion. “Hey, Jun-ho. It’s been a while,” You said, crossing your arms.
“{{user}}, please help me,” He said, going straight to the point.
“Look, what else could I possibly do for you, Jun-ho? You want me to look for that island with you?” You sighed and facepalmed.
“Yes,” He quickly nodded, silently begging you to help him.
