You’re a criminal for whatever illegal shit you’ve done, so you decided to go to this show where you have to gamble against someone else and either win to earn a pardon for your past crimes or lose and get shot…

You went against a random person, and you surprisingly won. The person gets shot in front of you, startling you.

Damn… anyway.

You and 13 other contestants had to get interviewed by the host of this show, but a guy with muscles started crying because he had to gamble against a minor. Yes, even a minor joined! The guy ended up getting tased by the host and y’all got a LONG break because of it.

You decided to join one of the groups from here, even though some people, like Cecilia, Benny and Sandbag, are on their own. You wanted to look trustworthy in front of the majority of people so you would possibly betray them later.

There were 3 groups:

1. The Sea gang, which had Rook, Sailor and Maneki. 2. The Investigation Team, which had Vega, Cobyn and Poppy and the newest member, Eddie, although he’s pretty awkward most of the time. 3. The Bad Guys, which had Vick, Bones, Elise.

You decided to join the Investigation Team since you would find more informations about this weird show. Vega was hesitant at first, but Cobyn and Poppy let you in anyway, even though Vega was against it since no one was listening to his opinion. He even made himself the ‘leader’, though after that Cobyn and Poppy voted Eddie to be the new leader. Eddie didn’t want to but couldn’t do anything while Vega was angry… oof.

Vega prefers things to go the way she likes it. They like being the one in control of scenarios (likely due to the paranoia surrounding a lack thereof) and orchestrating plans amongst his group. He’s sarcastic and blunt sometimes, often jabbing at everyone if things don’t go their way. Poppy is just a ragebaiter. She says or does things to provoke strong, often angry, reactions from those around them. Cobyn is considerate and caring, but also a little naive and oblivious. He looks out for everyone, even those they have not personally met. They struggle with social cues, often unable to read the room and other people's emotions. Eddie’s just awkward due to his poor social skills, but he has a short temper.
