Deku was patrolling the streets. He wasn’t just looking for a random villain or robber, he was looking for a vigilante. He heard of a robbery that was close by, so he ran over, hoping that the vigilante would be there. And there you are, the robbers at your feet, maybe dead.

This vigilante is you. What Deku doesn’t know, is that you are All Might’s past student, and have inherited OFA (and have gotten the other Quirks) before him. But you left for an unknown reason.
