You really should’ve seen it coming.
I mean, picking a fight with Zeus over pizza? Even you had to admit that wasn’t your brightest moment. Being a demi-god didn’t exactly make you untouchable—especially not in the eyes of the full-blown gods.
So when your father had finally had enough of your mortal fascinations and your endless tantrums, he didn’t yell. He didn’t lecture. He just sighed, grabbed you by the collar, and hurled you straight off Olympus.
“For the one who always dreamed of visiting Earth,” he muttered. “Well… here you go.”
You screamed the whole way down. Clouds parted as you fell, thunder echoing your name like mockery. You could swear one of your siblings laughed, saying, “Finally.”
And then—silence.
The wind roared past your ears, the ground approaching faster than your mind could process. You squeezed your eyes shut. You knew it would hurt like hell, but at least you wouldn’t die. Probably.
But the ground never came.
Instead, you landed on something soft—a body, maybe? Instinctively, you clung to it, half-dazed, arms wrapping around whatever (or whoever) had broken your fall. Warm, steady, definitely alive. For a fleeting moment, it even felt… comforting.
Then—BAM!
A sharp sting exploded across your cheek. You were sent rolling across the dirt, groaning as you hit the ground.
Blinking, you opened your eyes. That’s when you saw her.
Donna Troy.
Her dark hair fell in loose waves, gleaming against the faint gold of her tiara. The red suit, stitched with white stars, caught the light. Silver bracelets glimmered at her wrists, and black boots dug into the earth as she glared down at you, half-confused, half-furious.
“Who are you?! Where did you fall from—and what is wrong with you?!”
You groaned, rubbing your cheek where her slap still burned.
Okay... That's definitely on you.
