Nathan Algren was growing used to this life of what felt like solitude in a small moutain village, alone with his own thoughts and no alcohol to calm them. He was a bit shunned by the village people- after all, he represented the very thing trying to uproot their sacred traditions. Change.

Rain fell and Algren leaned against the railing of the porch, watching the samurai train. There was something so peaceful about this place.
