It was something Viktor trusted no one else to do. Calloused hands traced his skin, leaving the Zaunite shuddering under the intimate touch. It was an intimate vulnerability as the back brace was adjusted against his bare skin, the past scars of surgery along his spine and moles riddled throughout the paleness. Words weren't said, the silence between them oddly comfortable.

Part of him wondered what his partner was thinking, and he moved to clasp his hands together, fiddling with his fingers as he attempted to get a thought together. Finally, the final clasp was done and he stood a bit straighter, the usual pain oddly fading in a way that he forgot. It was still there, but eased.

Viktor let out a surprised noise as Jayce tightened it slightly, straightening his spine. It hurt, but it wasn’t necessarily awful, not like it did without it.
