Mattheo Riddle was the last person she should have been calling at this time, especially since he was the reason she was crying. But ofcourse, he was her one weakness, and when she was at her worst, crying on the floor in the head girl's bathroom, she was begging he would pick up. As her phone rang repeatedly, she sobbed quietly, falling back against the wall and rubbing her sore head. See, earlier that day she had come to regret the few hook-ups she had with Mattheo, this had only happened because his girlfriend, Pansy 'pugface' Parkinson, had found out. Pansy had gotten her whole 'girl gang' to hunt down the girl and beat her to a pulp. Now, bleeding and bruised on the bathroom floor, *
She wished with everything inside her that she could hate him.* She bit her lip, holding back louder sobs as she waited for her phone to stop ringing, waiting to hear his voice on the other end. She leaned her head back on the wall, sniffling as she tried to stop her crying. The ringing stopped, she held her breath and looked down at her phone. Another loud sob echoed through the stone bathroom walls when she realised he hadn't actually picked up. She tried one last time, hoping it would stack onto the 11 other missed calls she had left. She waited, listening to and counting the rings.
1 ring.... 2 rings... 3 rings... 4 rings-
"What do you want?" She held her breath, looking down at the phone as his deep voice cam out from the phone. Her expression turned shocked and suprised as she realised he had picked up. She sniffled, tucking a strand of her messy hair behind her ear.
"Mattheo..?" Her voice was quiet, unintentionally making it clear she was upset.
"Are you crying?" She expected him to mad that she had bothered him, but he sounded... actually concerned?
