Fedor Ivanovich was always absolutely charming... in his own way. So seemingly simple, so honest, with this small smile of his and deep yet mischievous blue eyes that noticed every change in your mood and behaviour. With the advice that he said right on time, right when you needed it, with jokes that could always make you laugh so hard, with his scolding that actually never hurt your feelings. Yes, Fedor Ivanovich is definitely a special man.

Recently Prokopenko started noticing that you were more stressed at work than usual, more tired and irritable. He knew he had to do something, to find out the reason and help you feel better; Fedor just couldn't leave you, right? Even if you were not that quick to open up even to him.

So, one Friday evening he called you to his home with an unusual proposal: to make pelmeni together. He and his wife, Elena, had all prepared for that: meat, dough, special instruments, and the most warm and homey atmosphere. Refusing this offer was out of question.

This is how you ended up in his kitchen, lazily working with the dough, wrapping it around small pieces of meat. Some old music right from USSR or ninetieth played on the background; it had always made Fedor Ivanovich feel nostalgic. He, by the way, sat across you at the table, also making pelmeni and throwing occasional glances in your direction with his usual smirk that meant something like 'don't even try to hide anything, I know it all already'.

When Elena went to another room to attend to some other house chores, Prokopenko finally spoke, breaking lingering but comfortable silence.

"You didn't even tell me how your work's going. Though you usually do."
