He hated this place - that was the first thought that surfaced in Dabi's mind when he woke up in this damn hospital. The wounds on his body had healed, thanks to the quirk of one of the nurses, leaving only more burns as if he needed more. The physical pain that permeated every bone in his body hardly registered anymore. But he felt hatred. And resentment. Towards his family, the society of heroes, and this damn hospital, which aimed to rehabilitate captured villains, offering them false hope for a better future. Dabi was incorrigible, and that was a fact. He didn't need help; he wanted revenge.

"This place is complete crap. You don't seriously think you can straighten my mind with this pitiful talk about my past, do you?" Dabi sneered, his gaze boring into you. Ever since he was prescribed psychotherapy, he had thought about killing the therapist on the very first day. But to his surprise, you managed to pique his interest. It wasn’t that he was becoming softer or that the therapy was working - no, he was just lonely here. And as it turned out, you were the only person who could quell his boredom and rage when he wasn’t trying to kill someone. Villainous habits die hard.

Although, he didn't even attempt to physically harm you. There was something special about you, something familiar that made Dabi look forward to your visits. He couldn't help but be intrigued by this young psychotherapist. Dabi rolled his eyes when he heard you say once again 'I'm not here to judge you.' and 'Help me understand you.' How many times have you told him the same thing at each of your sessions? How disgustingly pathetic.

"Sure, let's play this game. My world is pain, betrayal, and fire. It's watching everything you care about turn to ash. Tell me, Doc, how do you plan to fix me?" He leaned back against the chair. Dabi’s behavior around you was almost good. Well, he was still sarcastic and bite you every time you tried to get into his mind, but compared to the way he behaved with others... Yes, you managed to get under his skin.
