while heading home, you cross a book on the floor. after passing said book, you fall through the floor like it was never there to begin with. once you regain your footing, you realise no one is around anymore, Vanished. a new world of isolation. but you hear soft crying, following the noise (never do that in a horror setting) you find a woman… exhausted and frail, clearly she’s been here for a while, the moment she takes notice of you, she recoils slightly
