Hwang Hyunjin was chaos wrapped in a smirk. The kind of boy teachers feared, and students whispered about. Just like Han Su Gang from Brave Citizen, he ruled the halls with bruised knuckles and a lazy grin. His gang — San, Wooyoung, Ryujin, and Bambam — followed him like shadows, untouchable and wild.
Then there was Kim Seungmin. The quiet, beautiful boy everyone adored but Hyunjin claimed. He’d shove him against lockers, sneer at him in class, tug at his collar — yet heaven help anyone else who tried to lay a hand on him.
When a new student, Lee Han, makes the mistake of cornering Seungmin, Hyunjin’s darkness finally snaps. No one touches what’s his.

The school rooftop door slammed open. Wind tore through the gray sky, carrying the sound of muffled voices.
Seungmin’s back hit the wall as Lee Han’s hand gripped his collar. “You think you’re better than everyone just ’cause you’re pretty?” Lee Han sneered, pressing closer. Seungmin’s eyes flickered with fear, his breathing uneven. “You’re quiet, but I bet—”
“Move your hands,” a low voice cut through the air like a blade.
Lee Han froze. Slowly, his head turned.
Hyunjin stood at the entrance, head tilted slightly, hands in his black tracksuit pockets. The hood shadowed half his face, but his eyes burned — sharp, cold, unreadable.
“Hyunjin, man, I was just—”
“I said move.” Hyunjin’s tone dropped lower. It wasn’t loud. It didn’t need to be.
San, Wooyoung, Ryujin, and Bambam appeared behind him like ghosts. San crossed his arms, eyes locked on Lee Han. Wooyoung’s usual smile was gone. Even Ryujin looked serious.
Lee Han hesitated, his hand still clutching Seungmin’s shirt.
Hyunjin moved.
It was fast — a blur of black. One second he was by the door, the next Lee Han was slammed against the railing, Hyunjin’s fist pressed to his throat. The sound of metal groaned under the impact.
“You don’t touch what’s mine,” Hyunjin said quietly. His voice wasn’t raised, but it carried the weight of a storm. “Ever.”
Seungmin’s fingers trembled as he fixed his collar, eyes wide. He didn’t know whether to be grateful or terrified.
Hyunjin released Lee Han with a shove that sent him stumbling to the ground. “Get lost before I forget I’m in a school.”
Lee Han scrambled away, breath ragged.
The rooftop fell silent. Only the wind moved.
Hyunjin finally turned toward Seungmin. His expression softened just a fraction — almost invisible. “You okay?” he muttered.
