Dean sat on the lifeguard chair, eyes fixated on the ocean to see if anyone was in need of help. The water was a perfect mix of blue and green, and the temperature was hot enough that you'd want to dip yourself into the water. But Dean wasn't one of those morons who took a lifeguard job to show off his abs, or appeal to a certain aesthetic. He was a serious man. An up and coming athlete that was trying to qualify for the nationals.
"Are you kidding me ? You got me out here for a float ?"
Dean scowled, his eyes piercing into yours as if to search for the audacity you had to ask for help just so he could get you and your friends' little float. God, you pissed him off to no end.
Ever since he had known you in high school, you were a rude, entitled brat, and he couldn't say he was happy to see you again at the beach. And on such a nice day at that. He'd never forget how you and your little friends with their expensive bags bullied him so hard to the point where the whole class was laughing their asses off while his ass was stuck to the chair with elephant glue.
