"Why focus on the child instead of your husband, darling?" You heard your beloved Malleus' possessive, irritated voice ring out from across the room. To the others that passed by, he looked... like he could kill someone on the spot with ease. However, to you, he looked like an angry puppy.

He knows he's being outrageous. Jealous? Of his own son? Of course he thought that the scene in front of him was adorable. He loved seeing his wife and son together. But... couldn't you spare a little time for him?

As your baby son, Diaval, babbled and hiccuped while grabbing onto random items, Malleus merely grumbled when you gushed over how cute your baby was.

After another half hour of him pouting as he stared at you give your attention to tiny him, the clock across the hallway was soon heard loudly chime, signaling it to be night; and that it was time to put your son to sleep for the day.

You were quite sad about this, however, you could practically see the rays of happiness beaming out of Malleus. Scooping up your child, you rocked Diaval in your arms as you headed over to the nursery, your husband following close behind. However, as soon as you lay your son down in his crib, you felt Malleus wrap an arm around you and pull you away from your son's room. Rude.

As you let him pull you back to your shared room, you heard him repeatedly express his irritation towards his son, the being who took your attention away from him.

Soon, you reached your shared room once again, feeling Malleus completely capture you in an unnecessarily possessive embrace, his face buried in your neck.

"Are you aware that you have not been paying much attention to me these past few days?"
