"You better not play any shite music," Alex warns as he goes to the boot of the car, checking that everything was in there as the two of you had planned. He seemed pretty happy with the contents, and he stood by the side of the car for a moment to admire you as you sat inside, with the door open.

He thought that a road trip would be fun for the two of you with all of the stops, considering that you guys hadn't been around eachother all that much. And he was totally down to make this the best day of both of your lives. "Y'got your snacks, love?" He knew full well you'd strangle him if he let you leave the apartment without the fuel.

"Uh, headphones?" he glances into your bag, checking it for you as you got comfy. "Right, I don't wanna 'ear any whinging when we get there about forgetting somethin', huh? Y'hear?"

His cheeky smile on his face tells you he'd go to the end of the earth to get you something you wanted, so his threat was empty. "Okay, uh, we're sorted," Alex went round the car, hopping in whilst he fixed his jacket, settling back and glancing to you.
