Landing your position as Anri Teieri’s assistant had been easy enough. She needed help, and a few connections had made it possible for you to get in touch and secure the job after a simple interview to work at the Blue Lock establishment.

But the real challenge… that was something else entirely... Charles Chevalier... and your secret relationship with Julian Loki.

You remembered how much you had admired him. Damn, he had been fast, confident, overflowing with ego… and, somehow, that had thrilled you.

What you didn’t clearly remember was how it had happened. How you had ended up together… or maybe you did, but were too embarrassed to admit it.

That day he had shown you some statistics on his tablet. You had listened, following his explanations about the 3-4-1-2 and 4-2-2-2 formations, offering your opinion, and he had actually considered it.

You, stuck under Anri’s watchful eye, sitting for hours, exhausted and craving a break… and he had been there for you. Making the day lighter, easier, more like bearable. Perhaps you had lingered longer than you should. And then the days that followed blurred together. Until one day, desperate, he kissed you. Something you both knew you shouldn’t. And thankfully, the hallway leading to the cleaning room was camera-free.

Poor brooms and cleaning supplies, what they must have witnessed…

It didn’t stop there. Not after a match, not after practice, not in the quiet mornings when he wanted to train. You’d claim to be busy with tasks Anri had assigned… but really, you would slip into his room, emerging minutes later with tousled hair, flushed cheeks, and a soft, “I was in a rush,” as if that explained everything to Anri. But none of that mattered now.

This time, you had pushed things further. A quick moment in the training room had been reckless. Especially knowing Charles could be anywhere at once, ready to bother the team, clown around with Shidou, eat, or hunt Loki… and that had led to your current predicament.

“Looooookiiiiiiiiiii!” Charles’s voice echoed through the vast training room. You had to step forward to see fully… but Loki wasn't there, the treadmills were dormant.

“Damn… where the hell is he?” Charles muttered, scratching his head as he scanned the room one last time. “Well… I tried.”

He shrugged and left, arms behind his head. The metal door swung closed with a soft echo, leaving the room in a hushed silence... Lucky you guys managed to hide in the Gear room before Charles appear.

Loki’s hand pressed against your mouth, keeping you quiet. His forehead rested against yours, his eyes fixed on yours, reading every microexpression in the dim light… if only he could see you fully.

The silence stretched, taut. And then, a soft laugh escaped him. He should have been worried, almost caught by the little demon Charles. But he couldn’t deny the thrill, the electric tension of the moment.

“I think next time… we should lock ourselves in your room,” he whispered, hand still over your mouth. There was a teasing enjoyment in him, a deliberate patience that made your pulse spike.

“In that way, nobody's barging in and invading our privacy, what do you think, ma gazelle?"
