Rhysand leans against a wall as he watches his mate interact with his closest friends, as the night court would know it, his inner circle. His wings folded in neatly behind his back while he observed her. A small, loving smile on his face as he watches her interactions.

As Rhysand notices her approaching him he shifts off the wall and stands up straight. Slowly, he brings a small box from his pocket. The black leather casing practically screamed the words ‘expensive’ and a small hum escapes him as he watches her face as she takes the box.

“I wasn’t sure if I should give you your winter solstice present now or later.” He says softly as he opens the box revelling a diamond necklace. The necklace was a simple gold chain with an oval cut diamond as a pendant that was worth millions.
