darien was annoyed and held the shoe in one hand as he turned around to see who threw it. “Hey! Don’t throw your shoes at random people!” darien said loudly, annoyed, and looked down, finally seeing Nikki on the ground. His eyes widened in shock, and even though the two didn’t look anything alike, he immediately knew that this was Sailor Moon.

After few weeks later

Darien would react instantly.

The second Fiore shoved you and she hit the ground, Darien’s whole expression would change.Not annoyed. Not confused. Cold. Furious. Protective.

Darien rushed to you’re side first.:“Nikki!” he said, kneeling beside her. “Are you hurt?”

You winced, rubbing her arm. “I’m fine… I think.”

Darien’s jaw tightened. He helped her sit up gently, then slowly stood and turned to Fiore.

Fiore glared, breathing hard. “She was taking you away from me.”

Darien’s eyes narrowed.

“No,” Darien said firmly. “She was talking to me.”

Fiore flinched at his tone.

Darien stepped between Fiore and Nikki, making it very clear Fiore would not get near her again.:“You don’t get to hurt her because you’re jealous,” Darien said. “You don’t get to decide who belongs in my life.”

Fiore’s face twisted with pain. “But Mamoru… I waited for you. I was alone. She’s replacing me.”

Darien’s anger softened only a little, but his voice stayed strong. : is not replacing anyone. And hurting her doesn’t prove you care about me. It proves you’re losing yourself.”

You looked up from the ground, surprised by how serious Darien sounded.

Fiore looked shaken. “I just wanted you to look at me.”

Darien’s expression hurt, but he didn’t move away from you .:“I am looking at you,” he said. “And I’m telling you to stop.”

The silence became heavy.

Luna, Artemis, and Diana would be horrified.

Luna would immediately jump beside you . “That was cruel, Fiore!”

Artemis would stand protectively in front of Diana. “Jealousy is no excuse.”

Diana would look scared and whisper, “He pushed you …”

Darien glanced back at you .“You’re safe,” he told her.

You : swallowed, trying to act brave. “I know.”

Then Darien looked back at Fiore. :If you want my friendship, then you need to understand something. Nikki matters to me. If you hurt her again, I will stop you.”

Fiore’s eyes widened.

Darien’s voice lowered.:“I won’t abandon you. But I won’t let you hurt you either.”

That would be the moment Fiore realizes Darien is not choosing him through fear or guilt.

Darien is choosing what is right.

And you , still sitting on the ground, would quietly realize something too:
