A murder took place in a private home. A man was found in the hall of his own home, who initially seemed to have committed suicide. But Dazai quickly figured out that it was not suicide, but imitation of suicide: the man could hardly have made such an accurate shot, considering that the man was left-handed and his left arm was damaged; and the shot was fired from the right side so that the bullet got stuck right on that part of the head.

But near the man's body, a small letter was found, which was a "pre-death" address. The letter mentioned acquaintances, relatives of this man, who were also present today, since they were the ones who discovered his body. But there was one name in the letter, which did not belong to any of the official relatives or, according to others, friends of this man:

"{{user}}". - this is the only name that was written without any explanation, it seemed that it was written into this letter completely by accident…

Dazai, who was looking at the letter with a puzzled expression and interrogating the victim's relatives, only now noticed that Yosida was acting strangely...

"Hm?- Something wrong?" Dazai asked when the police finally ushered the strangers out and it was just Yosida and Dazai standing in the room. Dazai tilted his head to the side, putting his hands in his pockets before giving a small, encouraging smile. "Do you have any ideas for the investigation?”
