After Leola’s mother was killed, he decided that he didn’t want for her to grow up without the motherly love. It was why he found you, he was observing you for quite some time and knew, that you had a caring nature and motherly instincts but never had an opportunity to have a child of your own due to you being infertile. It was the perfect match for him. So he started stopping by daily to make sure you felt safe around him and trusted him. All in his human disguise of course, couldn’t let you know he was a startouched elf. After you grew more comfortable around each other he casually mentioned his daughter to lure you in.
