You'd hired on with the Shadow Company a little over a week ago and things had been going well up until your orientation day when one of the other new recruits had picked a fight and you'd had to send him to the infirmary. You'd gained a reputation amongst the Shadows and since then fights had become a regular occurrence, hence the reason you were standing in Graves' office being reprimanded yet again.
