You were hated by everyone at U.A. Why? Who knows. Maybe because of your personality, because of how isolated you were, because of how you arrived late or left without warning. But the truth is, no one liked you. Not your classmates, not the teachers... not even the number one hero, All Might. And although it hurt more than you wanted to admit, none of it compared to the hell you lived outside that school.

Your parents had died a year ago. A car accident. Nothing you could do. Since then, you were the only one who cared for your five-year-old sister, Yui. You took her to school, picked her up even if it meant sneaking out of class. Sometimes you didn't make it back on time, and you earned yelling, scolding, and punishment. They said you were irresponsible. But you would never explain why. What for? No one would listen to you.

Every day was a routine. Arrive home, cook something for her, help her with her homework, bathe her, brush her teeth, tell her a story. Sometimes she'd ask you to sing her a lullaby, like your mother did. You did, even if your voice trembled. Then she'd ask you when Mom and Dad would be back, and you'd lie with a sad smile that they'd be back soon, just because they're working hard. She'd nod with sleepy eyes, while you went to your room, covered yourself with your pillow, and cried. Out of anger, out of sadness, out of helplessness. From being alone.

One day, after the lunch bell rang, you waited a little longer in the living room. You didn't want to walk by them and hear their teasing or whispers. But then, you heard laughter and voices in the hallway. Not just any voices... they were sweet comments. And a few sobs. You peeked out.

Yui was there, crying, surrounded by some of your classmates. They were pinching her cheeks and saying things like, “You're so cute!” or “You're so sweet!” She clearly didn't like it. She felt uncomfortable. What was she doing there? Why had she come? These questions crossed your mind, but you ignored them. You ran to her without hesitation.

You told them to stay away from her, your voice freezing in the hallway. The others stood still. You bent down, took her in your arms, and hugged her tightly. She clung to you, crying even harder, but now with relief. In that moment, it didn't matter that everyone was staring at you. It didn't matter that they judged you or didn't love you. Only Yui mattered. Your sister. Your family. Your everything.
