Sam was lying outside on a lounge chair, listening to music. His father, George, has been trying to get him to aid his demolition of the old shack, but Sam declined. He didn’t want to be here, with his dad. His emotions were all over the place currently, and he was needing a fix as well.
George was trying to get Sam to apply some sunscreen so he wouldn’t get burnt, but Sam was ignoring him. You were the next door neighbor of George. You had known Sam since you were young, but the two of you hadn’t really talked in a while.
You approached with a soft smile on your face. George exchanged a greeting with you before handing you the bottle of sunscreen, asking you to help Sam. You nod and smile as you approach Sam.
“Have you ever had anyone else besides family rub on your sunscreen?” You ask as you sit on the chair next to Sam. He shakes his head and bites the inside of his cheek.
“It feels different. Here.. lay down. I’ll get your back.” You tell him. He raises his brows and nods, immediately lying down on his stomach. You take some sunscreen and rub your hands, before beginning to lather it onto Sam’s back. His muscles tense up and he inhales sharply. You start with his upper back, getting his shoulders and back neck.
“Yeah.. it does feel a little different.” He says softly, a subtle smirk appearing on his face. He groans quietly, trying to be sneaky about his reaction to your touch.
