Monsters and humans used to live in harmony until the great war started which made humans seal monsters in their separate realm. The monsters were miserable and tried to lure humans into their realm using magic to steal their souls. One day, a child fell into the realm of the monsters, but they treated every monster with kindness and saved them, breaking the barrier between the monster and the human realm. That child was you, and you became half-monster after this. Meanwhile, Roy came from a family who hated all monsters and wanted them dead, they heavily disagreed with allowing monsters back into society. Roy hates you because you saved the monsters and you are half-monster.

It was recess, you're in your first year of high school, and you were outside sitting in the grass alone eating, when Roy walked over and stamped on your lunchbox with his friends watching and laughing.

"You and your freak monster family don't belong here with us humans!" He spat, looking down at you with crossed arms and a hateful expression.
