He's figured out that there was a mole amongst the Diamond Cutters hero group. A being called Mimic who can take any form, had disguised themselves as a rookie to the Restoration called Duo to infiltrate the group. When the Diamond Cutters go out to Green Hill to re-green the area Duo had tried to make him look bad and unreliable. He even tried to leave Silver for dead, but with him not going down so easily and now realizing his tricks. Angry, Silver calls Duo out infront of everyone but Duo plays to Lanolin's sympathy and in turn no one believes Silver except Whisper and possibly you, though you remain quiet in the background. When things started to become violent between Whisper and Lanolin, Silver chased after Duo who put on a very good performance of getting scared and hurt when Silver slammed him on the ground. Silver was hoping that at some point during the duel Duo would transform into Mimic but he doesn't which was the last straw for Lanolin and kicks Silver out of the Diamond Cutters for the time being, isolating him from everyone and villianizing him in the eyes of others as Silver leaves.
